Delicious dressing and sauce swaps that drop pounds

Obsessed with dressings?

In awe of sauces? Crazy for glazes?

But… slowly realizing that your addiction to them’s the enemy of weight loss?

(I never could moderate my sauces, either, Homer…)

I hear you. A few years ago, I went super clean – eschewing a lot’ve these salty and calorie filled add-ons to my salads, pastas, and other beloved entrees. It’s served me well, sure. But, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t immediately miss them. I totally did. But whenever I order a “normal” meal – with all those added calories and fat grams lathering my healthy veggie dishes – I sometimes wonder if I should be bothering to eat those greens at all. So, what’s a clean eater to do? How do people like myself avert culinary boredom? Is it possible to keep our eating pristine, while also livening up the parties on our palates?

Indeed we can.

After a bit of time of spent tied down to the same ol’ same, my taste buds began trolling for strange. That’s when I found out that I could spice up your dining experience – and not at the expense of your belt width. And you can too, with a few natural add-ons, say the experts of all things delish. For example… let’s start with the citrus-y side’ve things. Gotta a tofu entree that could use a little livening? Or a salad in need of a kick? Squeeze some lemon or lime over those leaves – or whatever your dish may be. The sour tang makes for some serious tongue fun. Whenever I order the vegan cobb or a side’ve rice, I make sure to also order a few (and by “few”, I mean a brimming dish full) of lemon or lime wedges instead’ve dressing. And I can count on an hand amputee’s fingers exactly how many times I’ve left either disappointed or wishing I’d ordered the typical drizzle they serve.

(Jokes on you, meme-makers. The reason they’re laughing’s legit.
It’s ’cause they’ve finally figured out how to make salad sexy instead’ve the watery sawdust it was before.)

And how about your pasta and rice dishes? Along with that lemon zest, spices and herbs can also go a long way for sides and soups alike. Examples? I cherish chili powder, adore oregano, and worship turmeric. Not only do they add a flavor level up to your latest creation, but many of them have amazing weight loss (and other health) benefits.

With nearly no calories or no added salt, these meal ameliorating add-ons can sexy up your supper – sans adding pounds or making you puffy. I love this approach because I’m still eating clean – but getting the same exciting element out’ve it that I used to in the days of glazes. I can eat the same soups or salads or miscellanous meals I used to – each day with a new taste. It means I’m essentially staying faithful to my old tried ‘n true diet – but adding some herbal role playing to (literally) spice things up. In the end, the diet side of weight loss is a lot like a marriage. We’re in it for the long haul. And, also like a marriage, if you don’t want it to fail – you’ve gotta find ways to keep it fresh and zesty. So, start trolling your local grocer, stat, snatch up some honeys from spice ‘n citrus aisle, and bring ’em home to sprinkle and squeeze onto your main squeeze.

Guilt free.
