Why you should spice up your weight loss recipes with coriander

From cinnamon to turmeric, I adore my go-to spices.

They’ve never let me down.

But, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t always looking for the “next best thing” out there.

(What do you want from me? I work for a weight loss site. It’s my job to recruit new weight loss players)

Is it just because I’m greedy and never satisfied? Maybe. But, also, there’s the fact that what works beautifully for one’ve us may not be optimal for another. Plus, as they say, variety is the spice of life – even when it comes to spices themselves.

Which is why we’re putting the spotlight today on: coriander.

Championed for its anti-swelling properties, this stuff’s also tummy friendly in a major way. First, it helps moves stuff along. (Nothing worse than food tenants squatting in your intestines, refusing to leave, and requiring eviction with Ex-Lax.) Secondly, it also helps lay the foundation for a happy gastric environment to begin with. (This means the right kinda weight loss friendly bugs can come in to help your belly, while the bad guys get 86’d at the gates.) And, finally, as mentioned above, it is indeed ideal swell-repellent. That means it can also aid in cutting water weight – or accrued H2O we often mistakenly blame for being fat.

So, how can you enjoy this stuff?

Plenty’ve ways! For example, I love my soups. In fact, that’s actually how I found out about coriander – hunting down new food-pharmaceuticals I could sneak into my evening stew. Why? Well I love to elevate my health game via victuals. So, when I read that sprinkling a bit’ve coriander into my liquid deliciousness could aid in my fitness game, I was all about it.

But that liquid deliciousness doesn’t even need to be soup – if that’s not your thing. Making a pasta dish? Some pan seared tofu? A rice and veggie medley?Grab that coriander and toss it into the sauce that’s gonna top any of those things. But ya know what? We don’t hafta stop at dinner, either. If you love your breakfast smoothies, coriander can go in there too. This is actually kinda great (especially if you’re not a fan of the taste – but still want all’ve its benefits). By blending it up alongside the sorts of of flavors that hog your taste buds (like strawberries or raspberries), you can enjoy all the lovely side effects minus your perceived tongue torture.

Then again, why even over exert yourself?

If you feel that’s too much effort (or that you’ve already paid too much for your spice rack in the first place to be paying extra for smoothie produce), you can take your coriander like you would your vitamins: with water. Just chuck this stuff in a cup of agua and chug it down. It may not sound delicious – but it’s quick and cheap. Not to mention the fact that studies have shown a daily dose’ve 1 tablespoon of coriander seeds (after marinating it for twenty minutes in water) to aid in weight loss significantly.

Thus, if you’re bored’ve your basic seasonings (like I am) but still wanna stay healthy…

Just try some core slimming coriander next time you’re in the kitchen!
